Academic Background: Alex is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami. He currently holds an M.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and a B.S. in Physical Education: Sports and Fitness Studies from Florida International University.

Experience: Alex has worked across multiple levels of sport and academia — from teaching undergraduate kinesiology labs to coaching Division 1 athletes. He currently serves as a Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami, where he leads lab instruction in cardio-metabolic testing and supports active research in the Sports Medicine and Motion Analysis Laboratory and in the Laboratory of Clinical and Applied Physiology. Alex also serves as an adjunct lecturer at Florida International University teaching Sports Nutrition and Introduction to Kinesiology courses.
His dual role as educator and practitioner informs every part of his coaching philosophy.
